***11/09 I've met someone, and I am no longer looking***A little about me.... I am a positive person, who sees the glass half full and always tries to make the best out of each day. I'm 29 and my career recently did a 180. Instead of working in the sales department, I am now working to design a new computer system for the sales and support staff. That career change brought me from Long Island New York to the New England area....and yes I am a New York Sports Fan. That includes the Jets and Yankee's...I may be persuaded to cheer on the Celtics and Bruins.

I am career focused and I am looking for a more serious relationship than just a fling. I am looking for someone who wants to be in a relationship and knows what that means. Not the Hollywood made up romance, although chivalry, flowers, and candle light dinners go a long way; I am not looking for Prince Charming. I want to be treated with respect, the same way I would treat someone. In the future I do want to have a family; one of my favorite sounds is children laughing. I want someone who enjoys holding hands, cuddling and kissing. Someone who I can go to when I am upset and will make it better; who I can confide in, who is a friend and more. Someone I can be silly, sad, romantic and just be me with. Someone who enjoys having fun doing anything from a night out at a new restaurant, to grabbing a Spikes Junkyard dog (yes I know it's not healthy but a friend turned me on to them and they are so good), to walks on the beach, catching a live show (theater, musical, local band, concert), playing mini golf, bowling, trips to the casino, walks in the park, trips to the zoo/aquarium, going to museums, exploring new cities, or finding a new place in a familiar area, catching a sports game, going to a comedy club, enjoying the outdoors and sometimes just curling up on the couch with hot chocolate, a bowl of popcorn and watching a movie or tv show. Someone who has their own interests as well; I am up for trying new things. I've always wanted to take a cooking class.


I'm just as content making a home cooked meal and watching tv or a movie one night, and going to a concert, or Water fire the next night. I like to plan things spontaneously, so I am looking for someone who lives close.

I am not a huge tv fan, but I do have a few favorites, including The Office, Son's of Anarchy, and Lost. I love movies and will generally watch anything (except the twisted horror movies).



I love food (don't we all) and I love finding new places to try. My favorites are Italian, Greek and some Thai. My absolute favorite though is Italian food, and try to get to Federal Hill once and a while for some fresh ingredients to make my own dishes. As much as I enjoy cooking it's not as much fun to cook for one, but I'm trying to get into the habit of cooking more often. I collect recipes and watch the food network; I am not the best cook, but I am by no means the worst. I am also trying to shop at Whole Foods more often and learning the benefits of eating healthier/organic produce.

I am a total animal lover, I have two cats and a guinea pig, and someday I hope to get a dog. If you don't like animals, I doubt it will work out.

Recently I've had this desire to start taking photographs of the area, and to see what New England really has to offer. Long car rides, trips to the beach, discovering quaint area's, maybe a B&B in the winter. I might even attempt skiing this winter.

If your idea of a good night, is going to the bar or a club and drinking all night then I am not the woman for you.
