I'm gainfully self-employed as a marketing/fundraising consultant. I work with public radio stations around the country. I've had my business for seven years and while I work a lot I'm not all work.

I'm seeking an attractive woman who brings a lot of special qualities to a relationship as I do too.

I love to listen to music and NPR. I love the Beatles and a wide range of rock, soul, blues and alternative country. I also like to walk usually with my yellow Lab Buddy, nike ride, watch the Patriots and Celtics, and movies, work on my home and yard, play pool, meet up with friends at a pub, and travel when I can. (I'd like to do that more.). I also like kayaking, boating and cross-country skiing.

My favorite season is the fall/early winter. There's a lot to do and I like the cool days and nights sitting by a fire at home or out someplace.

My business is well-established and while it always needs attention I have time for a meaningful relationship and I'd like to meet someone who's also looking for one. I'm honest, kind, and articulate. I'm a gentleman and I hate game-playing unless it's a board game, pro sports or bar trivia. I'd like to meet someone with similar values and some of the same interests...and enough of your own to make it interesting.

Since the first date is mostly to figure out whether we want a second one, I think anything that gives us time and space to learn some things about each other, maybe a walk, dinner and drinks, an ice cream, miniature golf...
