I've been told I'm a study in extremes, capable of both bouts of intense passion and quiet contemplation. I am smart, confident, and insightful though I think perhaps the most important thing about me is that I am one who loves completely and with all of myself. I love my friends, I love my job, I love words, and no less do I love the people who share these things with me.

I am also analytically minded, prone to poetics, and wildly animate when excited :).

I am looking for someone who is equally passionate, about their lives and hopefully about me. Someone who I can stare at the stars with and likes listening to me ramble about whatever happens to be moving me at the time. I love pretty faces, and a girl with gorgeous eyes will take my heart every time.

As for generalities about myself, I am a Special Inspector for a geotechnical & testing lab in Livermore. I am hoping to move to somewhere in the East Bay by the end of next spring to be closer to the office.

I love to read and do so absolutely voraciously. I consume everything from sci-fi/fantasy to theo-philosophical works on to general science. I also consume a lot of online news/media and practically camp Digg.com and Penny-Arcade.

I watch movies compulsively: "Thank You For Smoking", "Layer Cake", and anything by Guy Ritchie are my all time favorites I think.

I also love board games, card games, billiards, and really anything that can be shared with other people.

Oh, and I have a tendency to sing to myself, like to litter my speech with consonance, and am a supreme dork.

Relatedly, there's no one else like me. I should know, I've looked. I'm not looking for my counterpart, but rather my complement. So don't be afraid to say hi ;).

I like coffee, love sushi, and am cautiously optimistic about surprises :).
