Hi I'm David from good old sunny Sheffield. I like good conversation so why not try me. I'm very honest and if I'm going to be right now meeting somebody online could be quite daunting for the opposite sex so I would want her to feel safe as well as special in my company. I also feel expressing myself about who I am and what I do is very important hence why such a long profile, no point putting a few words I could be anybody.
We all know honesty is the best policy but for me if you going to say something meaningful it must come from the heart and I have a huge one ...So if you have got patience then take time to read my profile and enjoy!

I set up my roofing business when I was 20 which kinda died a death in the credit crunch so I have now expanded my services into renewable energy(solar panels) and roofing, slow at the mo but optimistic about the future. In my spare time I do lots voluntary work for a charity based rehabilitation programmes in Sheffield called Kickstart and s.m.a.r.t to help addicts and alcoholics get clean and stay clean and will enroll at Sheffield collage in Jan to do an OCN level 1 in counselling, its just something I find very rewarding and fulfilling but also a plan B, always need a plan B....

My favourite music has to be soulful, funky house music like Masters at work, Disco heaven, Todd Terry, Sandy Riviera, Danny Rampling, little loui vaga etc, Sasha, not forgetting Jeremy Heeley and Alistair Whitehead and there old skool piano classics etc....... Don't get out much due to all my friends settling down but suppose a blow out every now and then doesn't hurt. I also love Stevie wonder, Jackson 5 (Rokin Robin) Luther van dross, Marvin Gaye and lots of varieties of soul music and motown. I do love to dance as well, it helps me to release a lot of tension from a hard week but its also a good way of expressing ones self.

I'm quiet a cautious person, very imaginative and resourceful, I care for the needs of others if and when they need it... This is why I do the voluntary work when I can, 9 times out of 10 I have found that users take drugs and drink cause it's a poor solution to some deeper problems they have, I help and assist behind facilitators on congruent behaviour therapy which relates to their thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns or other personal problems the individual may have.

I'm also a very active person, I play golf, (8 handicap)manage and play football Monday nights with the lads and I did use to ballroom dance (lessons) if only I had a god dam partner to try it once again, loved it and cant wait for strictly to come back on!

Its think its important to have good conversations with that certain someone in order to get the the best out of each other. A solid relationship is a two way thing built on the foundation of trust and respect for each other, there's just nothing better than being like 2 peas in a pod having a good connection, trust and a great buzz between you both ! Not too over the top though and give space when needed is a must, gota get my golf and fishing in and im sure you have handbags to buy.....

I'm not above myself in any way, I take a lot of pride in my job and I'm very passionate about my workmanship and carrying out work to very high standards, suppose the same goes for any relationships I may or may not come in to.
I'm looking for somebody special to accept me for who I am not for what I can give them, I dont do high maintanence as been there done that and not doing it again so if that's you then 'lets talk'. Thanks for taking the time out to read my profile.....Peace outx

I like to try and get to know somebody before I jump in, like I said I'm cautious so maybe just online chat gives me a good idea of the person you are and I certainly wont be making arrangements at the flick of a switch..... However If I like what I see we could always go to a classy bar or restaurant, depends on the person, I do believe the better things in life are free so we could always go fishing, proper fishing ya know, ha!x
