I am an intelligent, honest, well mannered, trusting, friendly, patient, gentle, warm, caring, affectionate, and a sincere person with a sense of humor.

Having been widowed there are many things I would like to continue doing, most of which would be no fun alone. These include traveling, taking walks, hiking, eating out, gardening, and just being with a special person again to share life. Yes I am 75, but look, feel and act as though I were much younger.

I have 6 children, 15 grandchildren, and 9, going on 10 great-grandchildren. I enjoy being with my family when I can in both Michigan and Florida. All of them are doing very well in life.

I own a small villa in Florida, 2 BR and 2 baths, and have wintered there for the last 10 years. I was in Michigan for part of one winter, recently, and I survived the ordeal. I enjoy my time in both places of my homes.

Since I retired I have worked for a non-profit organization for 5 years. I have done a fair amount of traveling including the D-Day beaches, my great-grandfathers village in Germany, about 18 Elderhostels in various parts of the country doing a large variety of activities. I have traveled to many of the National Parks in this country and some in Canada. So much of this was so enjoyable I would do it again.

At home here in Michigan I read, use the computer, garden and do other projects around the house. I have done some work in genealogy but have some organizing and research yet to do.
