About Me
I have a lot of great things in my life and I'd love to have someone to share those things with. I believe in God, I love playing and watching hockey, helping my parents out with their horses, learning new things (physics, history, philosophy, politics...), and spending time with my sister, brother-in-law and nephew. Hmmm...ok, lightning round: I'm a member of Mensa, I built my own rifle (I don't hunt though, turns out they sell meat at the store), used to teach Taekwondo and Jujitsu, lived in Australia, worked as a framing carpenter for two years, lied about my age to get my first tattoo at 16, used to have my eyebrow pierced, went through a "raver phase", allergic to feathers, love egg rolls...
I have a job a car and a house, never been married and don't have any kids. I'd get along well with a woman who is well educated, carries herself with dignity, expresses herself articulately, and has a healthy sense of whimsy.
"Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'who am I to be so brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?' Actually, who are we not to be? You are a child of God: Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." ~Marianne Williamson
First Date
Something conversational and casual. Comfort is very important to me so coffee, lunch, drinks, something where we can both be relaxed and feel each other out. Truthfully it depends on the woman. Once I get to know you a bit I'd have a better idea for a more "personalized" first date. I'd love to go ice skating but apparently Nebraska has very few people who ice skate. Hmmmm...
