My interests are many and diverse. I am very spontaneous, which I admit has a good side and a “crazy” side.:) However, life’s too short so I believe in “going for it!” (With the guidance of good judgment, of course). I live for new experiences and knowledge. We never stop learning no matter how long we’ve lived or how much we’ve been through.

I’m passionate about the things and people I care about. Giving without expecting anything in return, being slow to judge, learning from each other and really hearing and wanting to understand where others are “coming from” are what relationships are really about.

The experiences I’ve had that have given me the most pleasure are:

Holding each of my children after they were born. (The most beautiful miracle of nature)

Reaching the top of Alborz Mountains, gazing at the beautiful scenery and enjoying the amazing stillness that can only be “heard” at the top of a mountain.

Swimming in the Caspian Sea and going out as far as I dared, each wave as it came in pushing me towards shore only to immediately grasp my body and attempt to pull me out to sea (the power and beauty of nature captivates me)

Walking through a village in the remote section of the Middle East and seeing the simple life of the people, the children with dusty clothes, laughing and playing with a plastic soccer ball and every man and woman I encountered offering me a smile of welcome and generosity. (There’s still hope.)

and many more….and I hope many more to experience.

I enjoy biking, hiking and being in nature. I workout regularly and love the feel of the burn.

Enjoying diversity in cuisine is part of the enjoyment of life, though I do have a special taste for seafood, eggplant, broccoli, artichokes, plain homemade yogurt with spinach, rhubarb and black cherries..... and fresh ground coffee! Mmmm!

Music is therapeutic and motivating. I enjoy all types.

As for movies… I enjoy comedies to make me laugh, documentaries to make me think, action to impress me with special effects and “Dances with Wolves”.

I’m open and honest and just surfing the waves of life.

Go skydiving! Or meeting at a coffee shop would be nice too. :)
