I always hate this part, what can I say that won't make me sound like a self-absorbed ego-maniac? Start simple, go from there, I guess. My friends call me Kelly, I'm 28 years old, spent 4 years in the Marine Corps, been out since '02. I own my own place here in Ogden. I work too hard for too little money (these days, who doesn't). I'm not as active, nor in as good of shape as I would like, but two years ago, I hurt my back pretty bad, and that has caused my previously active lifestyle to catch a cab to someplace sunny. I don't play around as much as I used to, but when I do, I try not to let my back interfere too much. I like Sci-Fi movies, fantasy novels, and Anime cartoons, but I can be just as comfortable with romantic comedies, mystery stories, and Saturday morning cartoons. Music, ...well music is a different story with me. If it's good, I like it, if it isn't, I don't. The majority of rap, as far as I'm concerned, is just an excuse to act like a degenerate criminal, it doesn't qualify as music, I don't like it and I really couldn't care less if you feel differently. In my life, I've liked pop, country, metal, rock, and classical, so I'm pretty easy to please in the music area. I stick to what I believe in. Call a spade a spade, and a jack a jack. Treat every woman as a Lady. And never start a fight, but make damn sure you finish it. I'm pretty easy to get to know, and under the right circumstances, you won't be able to shut me up. (case in point, this profile :) I don't put on false airs, and I don't like people that do. Ultimately, I'd like to find my soulmate, but until that happens, I'll settle for surrounding myself with really good friends. I like to bar-b-que, and I consider myself pretty good at it, so if you're ever up for a good slab of steak, just drop me a line. First Date
As a first date, one would think that the thing to do would be to get to know each other, ergo, no movies, and no loud clubs. Maybe a cup of joe, and a quiet conversation, maybe some 'adult' beverages in a quiet club. Either way, conversation is the plan for a first date. You can't get to know someone if you don't talk to them.
