First, I seldom ever make the first contact. It's not that I'm shy at all, but I like to know you're serious before I put much time into this. Been burned before.I work hard at my own business that I love and have done so for 22 years. I've raised my two children, 19 and 21, and am enjoying taking the next step with them now. I love them so much, I have no idea where I would be without them in my life. I have date night with my daughter once a week, where we usually go out and have a nice dinner and conversation. The absolute true love of my life. My son & I also have a great relationship. He occasionally works for me, helps me often with the many projects I have had. We have renovated the space above my store into a loft style apartment! Great quality time together, and an awesome, awesome, looking apartment.! Time to downsize! We enjoy going to baseball games together in the summer, and an occasional football game in the fall/winter. We talk about cooking, which I'm really not that good at, but I can whip up a darn good spaghetti and meatball dinner. I've got an old family recipe passed down to me from my grandparents/mom, straight out of Italy, and it usually comes out pretty good! I am so looking forward to start reaping the benefits of 22 years of hard work and begin to travel more often, and spend more leisure time with the ones I love. I love to go out with friends to a nice restaurant especially with outdoor dining, and enjoy a glass of red wine or two. I think I know how to treat a lady and enjoy doing so! I miss being able to just go out after work with my girl, have a nice dinner, talk & discuss our day together. I like classic rock, from Elton John, to Jimmy Buffet & Led Zeppelin. I don't usually go out to bars with live bands and dancing because I,well, pretty much suck at dancing, but do enjoy slow dancing with someone I like close to me. I do enjoy the blues, jazz, and will listen to most anything. At this point in my life, I am ready to start doing some exciting traveling & spending time with my woman.

On a first date I would want to meet at a place that is comfortable for her. I would order a good glass of wine, red preferred, unless my date doesn't want a drink. Then my choice would be iced tea. I would try to listen more and talk less. You learn from listening! Not that I can't talk your head off, and would gladly do so, but I'm an Italian guy who can ramble on as long as you want me to. If things were going well and my date was hungry we could order an appetizer or dinner if SHE wanted to, otherwise, we would just continue to hang out and get to know each other better. I think the first date is easy. It's the second and third that I get a little bit nervous about! I also believe that before the end of the first date, both people will pretty much know if theres going to be a second one anyway. I think chemistry happens immediately. If its not there the first time, it's probably not going to happen. Doesn't mean I didn't like the person, theres always some degree of spark or I wouldn't bother to meet her, but for me,I'm looking for fire!
