I love trying new things. Most recently, scuba diving. I also don't mind taking risks, both personally and professionally. That said I should confess I'm somewhat skeptical of online dating. I love road trips, spiritual or political conversations that go on for hours, game nights, cooking for friends or family, barbecues and just about anything that takes place in Vermont or New Hampshire. I love Fenway and if it were ever torn down it would be like losing a close family member. One of my happiest moments all year is walking up to the stands for the first game of the season.

I set high standards for myself and if I do something I do it right. I love kids (mostly ones I'm related to or belong to close friends). I'm financially responsible. I don't drink and drive. If I commit to something I do it, or call well in advance with a good reason. Although I don't make a nasty habit of correcting people on their English, good grammar and the ability to articulate thoughts well go a long way with me.

I run my own business. I'm involved in a couple different charitable organizations. I'd like to be able to retire early. I'll probably never stop working but I'd love to be in a position where I can spend more time with family, traveling, and doing volunteer work.
