| | I love to kayak, jog, and do anything outdoors and at the beach. I love gardening as well.Despite my law degree (LOL+ Go Wolverines!!), I am very easy going, very witty/funny and interesting to talk to- a LADY of great depth. I love NPR, AM talk radio as well as listening to my favorite Artists on CDs.Bon Jovi's "Left Feels Right" is currently my favorite CD as is Fritz Chysler's "Kreutser Sonata". My iPOD playlists are to die for!(one of my playlists contains the most beautiful love songs ever written from all genres of music -old & new-, another playlist is for jog speed motivation, and another is great foreign & "Indie" music- etc).I am recently "retired" from law,hated it or perhaps on current reflection was "burned out", but was good at it and had an expensive education = not an easy decision to walk away from, etc.(but may return to it after a thoughtful break from it). I currently have my own non law-related businesses which I started from a mere fleeting concept to full blown companies. I write comedy part-time and am currently working on a comedy based book/screen play; and, P.O.F. has given me alot to work with/incorporate into my work (LOL). My comedy writing keeps me grounded and I do sell my jokes to well known celebrity/folks. However, this comedy "work" is not one of my full-time businesses I refer to above. I love to cook and eat healthy, and am always up for a new adventure no matter how simple.
I Would really like to learn more about sailing and how to bait a hook with out getting upset about the gore and guts even with surgical gloves on (LOL). I also want to learn about salt water aquariums and get a REALLY BIG one eventually. My all time favorite book is "A Prayer For Owen Meany" by John Irving, as well as "Atlas Shrugged". Love the entertainer Tom Jones (but have never seen him perform don't even own any of his CDs)because I admire his ability to stay relevant as well as love his energy (saw him on PBS during a fortuitious channel surf-LOL)- he again reminded me that age is just a number!!. Currently,I am learning to play the harmonica so I can play the Blues (mums the word on how I am doing so far- sore subject- LOL- harder than it looks), am a very mediocre violinist of 10 years, world travelled for the joie de vivre and wanderlust. Love to be in love (in a rational sense),and desire a good GENTLEMAN in my life that I can proudly call "mine".
Independent yet dependent, and never take for granted the blessing of a good man in my life & the passionate relationship that results from two emotionally healthy, loving people.Have you heard that Clint Black song "Love Is Something That We Do"?- that's what I am referring here- the lyrics are so beautiful.
So, as you can see, I am a woman of depth -as opposed to a rush judgment label of "complicated".
I am looking for a GENTLEMAN with MANNERS, who "does the right thing" no matter how difficult that it may be at the given moment or situation, and who has left behind major(future relationship affecting, i.e., "us") "baggage" from previous relationships/experiences and is able and ready to have a quality, healthy relationship with a really good woman without excessive nasty interference & DRAMA by "The Ex" (PS: I can tolerate the average/typically expected "Ex" intereference-I won't tolerate the excessive crazies).
Intelligence is an absolute attribute you must have- I get bored with anything else. I do not care if your intelligence was gained through formal education, the "School of Hard Knocks", or just innately God given.I also like my partner to have a good grasp on what is going on in the world in terms of current events, politics,and where you can get the latest + most accurate "cheat sheets" on Nintendo Lite games like Grand Theft Auto!!(LOL I put this last "requirement" in to lighten the read of my profile-LOL) I do play on my N.L. on planes and, yes, love G.T.A. game!!
My "Bucket List" is long and changes, and I would love to meet someone to accompany me and check off our items.
Outward appearances are not that important(don't get me wrong- I do appreciate a wonderful looking GENTLEMAN, but it's the "total package" that I am looking for and the appearance portion is not a high priority) a GOOD, young heart, full and DEEP soul and POSITIVE attitude and GREAT sense of humor are qualities that are of utmost importance to me. Also, my dog must love you, too!
