Hi, and thanks for taking the time to read this. First off, I want to be honest, all I'm really looking for is friendship at first. I can make friends with most anybody, but I'm somewhat picky as to who I get involved with. Not into serial dating, playing the field, etc. Just decent, fun ppl to get to know and hang out with. It's great having friend's that I can call if there's a last minute thing I want to go to...a concert, movie, comedy show, hockey game, festival, etc., and need a partner-in-crime/wingchick. LOL However...if more develops tho...that would be absolutely awesome and amazing! I just think sticking with the friends thing initially gives everybody a chance to see what we're REALLY like in everyday, crazy life. Also...my age is actually 45. I did that because it seems I get along better with ppl a bit younger than me. Most 40 something's I've known seem to be way too stiff & uptight for my tastes. Don't be afraid to let your hair down...life's too short!

Now a bit about me...Born and raised in northern OH on the shores of Lake Erie. Yup, I'm a transplanted Yank that moved south about 10 years ago. My outlook...The glass is ALWAYS half full! Even if the water in the glass might be a bit muddy at times. Positive, upbeat, look forward to each and every beautiful day...well, AFTER I've had my infusion of java in the morning. The best you'll get from me are various grunts, mutterings, an occasional growl, so don't mess with me until then. LOL Very straight up, very honest, no BS kinda guy. I absolutely abhor games/BS/drama of any kind! Been called an a**hole at times because of my bluntness. And thats OK. I don't have the time, patience, or tolerance for it. I've also been told that I'm a smarta$$...there's a big surprise...and have a strong personality. I'll definitely agree with the former but you'll have to decide for yourself on the latter. But if you gain my friendship and loyalty, there's not a whole lot I won't do for you. I've been accused of having an off-the-wall sense of humor...a weird, twisted combo of South Park, Monty Python, Looney Tunes, Family Guy, Robot Chicken and a dash of the 3 Stooges, etc. Goofy, sarcastic, obscure, gross, irreverent, cheesy, and cynical. So you better enjoy laughter! Yeah, yeah, I know you have to be all grown up and serious at times, but when you don't have to...don't! Nothing's better than a deep down, straight from the gut laugh that leaves you with tears in your eyes, your sides hurting, and ppl making fun of you because you did that snort-laugh thing.

So, what else? Umm, NASCAR...not! Monster truck rallies, professional (HA!) wrestling, reality shows of ANY type...HURL! I also pass on country music & most rap, with a few exceptions, but most other music I enjoy, especially rock (old & new) and the blues getting my juices flowing. Laughing! Oops...said that already. Nada on smoking. Except for an occasional good cigar, but only if I go out. I adore my 2 little girls (Ages 8 & 9, so we're a package deal! But don't worry...I'm not looking for a mommy for them...they have one already...this ad is for ME! LOL). Love to play pool! Catching a live band somewhere rocks! Thoroughly enjoy a good wine, a snifter of brandy/cognac, a Captain & Coke, or a chilled shot of Grey Goose. Not into beer...at all. Comedy clubs. Great food. Can cook. No, really, I can! :) Plus can order a mean pizza. Definitely a chocoholic. Rollercoasters rule...but it has to be the 1st car...this way I don't have to worry about puke from the people in front! LOL Working out feels GOOD! Like a good movie (in or out). It's even better curled up with someone. Luv, luv, luuvvv riding my motorcycle...and I have a spare helmet! ;) But if you have your own bike...even better! Anything outdoors, from going for a walk/hike, to spelunking, boating, snorkeling...even skydiving, which I haven't done yet...but want to. I'm always being told that I don't look or act my age (everyone always guesses me to be in my mid 30's, so I guess I can hold off on that facelift a bit longer...haha) and that I'm a great big kid at times. Which probably explains why my rugrats love playing with me so much! :) So you'd better like to have fun...or else!

Well, anything more about me, you'll just have to pull my FBI file...I mean...find out for yourself. ;)

Maybe a coffee shop one afternoon or drinks one evening...something simple where we can chat. This way, if either of us wants/needs to bolt, we're not committed to an ENTIRE date. LOL If we can get thru that and discover an attraction of some sort, THEN we can shoot for another date to explore things further.
