Let's go with the word renaissance man to describe me. I have a natural sense of curiosity that drives me to enjoy the taking on of new tasks. Like men of that era, I have broad ranged interests in the arts and music to engineering and design. You can find me on the streets helping the homeless and find me having conversations with corporate managers. You can sit next to me in church and then not see me for a few weeks. Find me in a kitchen cooking for 2 or 30 and then under a car or fixing a house.
I have been blessed with 58 years of opportunities and events that even in the toughest of times let me wake up smiling in the morning, or afternoon :) These years have put a few scars on me and a few tattoos (did I mention adventurous? LOL) that can be seen from time to time. Never the less, the twinkle is still in both my eyes, laughter and the love of life is on my lips and love remains to tapped in my heart.
But no baggage, I live in the current and never in the past. I bring only myself and none others to my relationships. I believe in a pace in the relationship that builds a deep foundation rather than be swept up and landing in Kansas like Toto. When the foundation is set, then we will be swept up every time we get near each other.
A romantic person by nature and heart, for nothing warms my heart more than the smile of my partner when we draw near to each other knowing that she thinks nothing but the best for us. Being able to make my own work hours, lets me be available for the quick getaway or long weekday lunch.
I do enjoy golf and if a round is of interest, then you have a easy partner. I do not keep score and offer advice only if asked. To me, it is a way to find out about a person much more than the cup of coffee and 30 questions.
Of the many things that I wish my partner to have, one key one would be desire to lead a Christian life. One that extends from the simple attendance at a church, to a more meaningful relationship in Christian ways. BTW, LOL can also mean LOLord :)
I close with something that put a smile on my face the other day. My 39 year old friend, while I was cooking us dinner, commented on my age. Her comment was, NO WAY YOU HAVE MORE ENERGY THAN MY BOYFRIEND.

While most preferred first date for ladies is the coffee and muffin at Starbucks, with a free grill session, I would prefer a Sunday River brunch, and a walk thru OLDSAC or something of that kind. A round of golf is even better before the weather goes away.
