I am a 26 yr old female from Vancouver WA. I grew up here, but was born in Anchorage, AK. Yes I am "Eskimo", Inuit more like it, mixed with some Norwegian in there too (where my height comes from). I work as a Veterinary Technician at a day clinic. So, yes I have a soft spot for the fuzzies.
My family and friends are very important to me. I have lots of good and close friends, although for some reason have lost contact with some.. Seems like a lot of them are flaky, so what can ya do.
I honestly don't know what to think of relationships at this point. Seems like I meet an awesome guy and something goes wrong. So, pretty much just waiting for someone to blindside me with awesomeness.
A person can never have too many friends, so I would love to meet new people to hang out with and widen my circle of friends. You can find me on My Space under MarieW.
I like to laugh and have fun, be silly (serious when needed), try new things (although I might be reluctant at first), spend time with my cat-children, and just hang out. I can be quiet at times, and yes a bit shy with certain people..
I have friends of all varieties and walks of life. I enjoy seeing points of view from others, and learning from others. I like to see myself as non-judgmental, so whenever you need a non biased opinion, or someone to listen, I am here.
I don't believe in uncomfortable silence, I enjoy it sometimes. I like it when you can just sit with someone and don't feel like you have to fill the air constantly.
I enjoy traveling and getting out of the city, even if it's for a day. Unfortunately I haven't been able to do that lately, and don't have anyone to do it with! A nice drive somewhere is always fun, and wish I could get out in the sun more.
My interests include hanging out with friends, listening to music, watching movies, snowboarding, animals, art, the outdoors, playing pool (I'm no shark), trying new things, meeting new people (although I can be shy!) amongst other things. I like to sing in the shower and dance when I'm alone, I love MacNCheese, love going to the zoo, hate the smell of pennies and zippers (although I collect pressed pennies), have an old man crush on Nicholas Cage, am addicted to Hello Kitty and absolutely love printed knee high socks!
I love to travel, although I haven't gotten to for a while. I've been to Europe several times and got the chance to live in Germany for 6 months - wouldn't give up that experience for anything :)
Some of my favorite bands include Kings of Leon, The White Stripes, Death Cab for Cutie, Muse, Snow Patrol, The Decemberists, Mindless Self Indulgence, Radiohead, Cage the Elephant, Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Beck, and Katy Perry. I do like a whole variety, and my list is ever-changing. I think it's best that way :)I however have never been a big country fan...
I like any movie that can hold my attention. Some of my favs would have to be Shaun of the Dead, Super Troopers, Superbad, Juno and Eagle vs. Shark.

Whatever is clever. I am honestly a pretty easy going chick. :) I am fine with going out, or staying in. Live shows are always fun, even where you can sit down and have some drinks/food.
