I can do all the typical guy stuff like hanging out with the boys, drinking beer and watching football games but also come up with creative, sincere surprises for my significant other. I think I balance those two aspects very well.

As for me, I’m nice but not boring, intelligent but not socially inept, tolerant but not a push-over, tall and athletic but not muscle-bound and attractive but not vain. I’ve never been married and don’t have any kids but don’t have any fear of commitment.

I feel like I need to balance out all of those positives with some of my possible negative traits: I’m not always the most punctual person although I try very hard to be, I’m sometimes very stubborn but usually do a good job of seeing things from other points of view …

I have pictures I can point you to after I get a reply with a picture. Physical attraction is important in a relationship but I think many people underestimate the role a great personality can play in that.

I think humor and intelligence are two of the most attractive qualities a woman can have – but since I keep myself in shape I appreciate that in others, too. (That’s not usually a make-or-break issue though.) Ideally I’d prefer finding someone who hasn’t been married and doesn’t have children as I’d like to experience those things together for the first time. (Again, that’s not usually a deal-breaker.) Age is not nearly as important to me as how old you act – there’s a time and place for being a free spirit and a time and place for being serious. Knowing how to balance those two is very important.

First dates are always difficult. Depending on who I'm going on the date with, a Drillers game, the zoo or maybe just checking out a new restaurant might be good.
