I'm Karen. I hate writing stuff like this...but here goes. Music has always been close to my heart. I couldn't go a day without it. I definitely grew up as a classic rock kid, and I don't think I've really grown out of it. I have a hard time getting used to hip-hop/rap, but I'm pretty much open to everything else...and yes, that includes country. My dad is my hero and my family & friends mean the world to me.

I'm a Cubs fan. Always have been, always will be. I'm left-handed. "Where The Wild Things Are" is my favorite book of all time. I LOVE movies, specifically horror films, but have yet to find a scary movie that I would consider a favorite...Or a scary movie that actually scares me. I have a few favorite movies, but could probably recite every line from "The Goonies" and "The Sandlot."

I love photography. I just find it incredibly fascinating that you can capture a moment of your life in mere seconds...and when you print it, it's kind of like printing a memory. I love taking photos of anything really, but I actually do a lot of work with rock shows.

I believe that the plural to moose should be meese, based purely on the logic that the plural for goose is geese. I think that Superman can kick Batman's ass anyday. I used to like Batman more, but Superman has legit powers, and Batman just has a bunch of gadgets. I think 'gadget' is a funny word.

I'm really not into the whole bar scene. I never really have been. I don't see the point in crowding into a tiny space, paying waaay more for one drink than anyone ever should, and not be able to hear someone who is sitting right in front of you. Just get together at someone's house, buy a case of whatever it is you like, and I'm pretty sure everyone will enjoy themselves just as much. I'm looking for someone who thinks the same way.

I dislike:
people who don't use their turn signal.
people who leave their turn signal on after they've completed the turn.
colored kleenex. (go ahead, make fun of me all you want.)
mustard.
tangled phone cords.

I don't know. I guess the whole movie thing is out. As far as I'm concerned, you're getting to know someone on the first date, and you're not supposed to chat during movies. We'll see how it goes...
