NOTE: I'M CURRENTLY DATING A LOVELY MAN EXCLUSIVELY. However, I DO like to dish out (usually unwanted) advice to lost souls on the forums. I'm a little maternal that way ;P
Anyhow, a little about me - I'm a mix of bubbly and pensive, modern sensibilities with an Old World nostalgia and with more than a little bit of the Devil in me. The things I'm most fond of in life are the arts (visual, dance, you name it), satirical and irreverent humour, caffeine, animals and really, REALLY bad movies.
I do have a little bit of a geeky side to me - I'm addicted to those old DOS games with terrible graphics. I also like classic lit, especially works by Dostoevsky, Gogol and Poe. H.P. Lovecraft and Terry Pratchett are guilty pleasures.
I'm also a big history nerd, with a focus on the social aspects. I find it a lot more interesting to read about the daily lives of everyday people than to memorize the dates of various treaties. My focus is early modern European.
Languages? I speak a little French and less Russian.
My taste in music: Rock and Roll! Anything from psychedelic to post-punk to psychobilly. But to be a little more specific, the artists I listen to most are The Cramps, The Doors, The Animals, Siouxsie & the Banshees and Zombina & the Skeletones.
