So I'm 40 and I'm still looking for the love of my live. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever find her. Are they all taken?

I'd say I'm not the "typical" guy. I think with my brain, not that other part of my anatomy. Also, I go from wild and adventurous one minute to soft and romantic the next. Yes, I did say romantic, but make no mistake, I also said adventurous. I enjoy the outdoors - biking, rafting, rollercoasters, racing cars in the SCCA Solo series and more.

I'm working on a career transition but I'm not straying too far from my roots. I've spent 17 years in television, behind the camera as a Producer and Cameraman. Now I'm charting a new course, this time in front of the camera as an Actor/On-Camera Presenter and Print Model. I have acted in national television programs, commercials independent films and the stage.

I live in the Baltimore area, however I am in DC often. I can have fun going out for a night on the town or just hanging in and sharing a bottle of wine with someone special. There is a certain magic that happens when you find that special someone. I can't explain it, but you just know when its right.

I'm not looking for, nor do I want to be a "flavor of the month". I want a long term relationship. I want a REAL woman, a woman with substance and brains, not arm candy. A woman who is smart AND confident, yet doesn't flaunt her intelligence. I want a woman who has her act together, not one who still doesn't know what she wants to do with her life. I want a woman who I feel comfortable with, someone I know I can count on and she can count on me (a best friend). I'm looking for intelligence, honesty, mutual trust and respect. A woman who is down to earth and who isn't afraid to tell me what's on her mind really gets my attention. After all, communication is a big factor in a relationship. If you need to talk to me about something, tell me, don't keep it bottled up. You have to have that communication if you want a strong relationship.

Being honest, I have to say that I'm NOT looking for someone who wants or has children. Don't get me wrong, I like kids, I just don't want to have any myself.
