Born and raised in northern California, I'm still a farm girl at heart. I have a huge soft spot for anything four legged and furry - both of my dogs and my cat are rescues. Friendships mean a lot to me - I am still friends with three of my kindergarten classmates. I recycle. My two favorite vacations were: a week in Cheyenne, WY for Frontier Days with my sister; and a week in Rome, Italy with my sister and mom. I've been to over half of the continental United States. I'm just as happy going to a Broadway production, rodeo, monster truck show, or the symphony. I'm more clutz than athlete, but will try pretty much anything once - exception would be jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. I like my quiet time, but have been told that I talk A LOT - you need to be able to hold up your end of the conversation. As for music, I pretty much listen to country, but can handle anything except rap. My favorite group right now is Trailor Choir. I asked my future brother-in-law to describe me so you all could get a southern guy's perspective. His response: "different." After tormenting the poor guy for a more in-depth answer, this is what he came up with: a strange combination of California redneck hippie, both conservative and liberal, very talkative, and stubborn. Oh, and he LOVES my zucchini bread and whole-wheat oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
