i'd say i'm pretty independent, so i need a person who understands that, as much as i'd love to come home to someone who'll keep me warm at night- i would expect them to be comfortable with me having my own personality!

some other stuff about me:

-i was a vegetarian for 12 yrs
-used to live in south america(viva bolivia!)
-went to switzerland and germany for a month when i was 16
-wasting time is my biggest pet peeve
-i love to cook, and bake!
-love to try new wines/beer
-have already brewed the beer, hoping to someday get to the wine making!
-and grow stuff
-sang the national anthem @ a milwaukee bucks game
-in high school, my friends bought me a star! - really should try to find where that thing is!
-i would classify my wit/intelligence as my best traits


i'd like to find a person who is a strong individual, and is ready to have a real relationship. i am not looking to be walking down the aisle next year- but i would like to be with someone who i can be with long term...at some point *eventually* ending in a short walk!
as for the kind of guy i'd like to meet-
i don't have a certain thing i look for, but among the traits, i need a sense of humor, someone who appreciates intelligence and honesty, and doesn't waste time getting jealous, or being a jerk-
and please, no drama!! if i want drama, i will be in a play!

also, i need someone who is able to communicate!! and they seem to be *so hard* to find!!! (bonus points for telepathy!) :-) it would be great to find someone who felt lucky to have someone with as many opinions/ideas/interests as i have. Some men just seem to get overwhelmed or are not so interested in complexity, as much as having a person just go along w/ everything...
learning new stuff, going new places, and try new things are also key to keeping life interesting- so someone who likes their set routine and doesn't like to cross the county line, or isn't open minded would probably not have the best time with me!

oh yea, i feel like i should tell you that, along with wasting time, a HUGE annoyance of mine is when people have pics of 'ex-girlfriends', or other random chicks who *CLEARLY* aren't just your buds!!!' Really, it just makes you look like a douche when you put them on a dating website- also not a fan of creepy webcam pix, or self-inflated egos... come on now you guys- its gets kind of ridiculous to see these bios about how you need a sweet, smart, laid-back, super model who is in prime shape, but isn't high-maintenance or self absorbed or shallow about it! honestly!! see, you're free to want all of those spectacular things- but when you're both old and saggy, you'll really just want someone to stay home and play pinochle with your old wrinkly ass!
