I am a single father of a 13 year old young man. I also have a beautiful daughter who lives with their mother in Nevada. I am originally from McMinnville but have only recently moved back due to family needs. I am pretty easy going and try and keep my life as simple as possible. I am adaptable to most situations and think of myself as a people person. I have a pretty good sense of humor and enjoy anything fun indoors and outdoors. I haven't dated since my divorce but feel that it is time for me to get out there and try to meet someone. If nothing else just to make friends. I have been on this service for a while now and I thought maybe I should add some things so that anyone who might like to message me can know more about what I am like and what I am looking for. For instance I don't date women that smoke. It is not that there aren't many fine women who do smoke it is just I don't smoke and I don't care to be around smoke and to be honest I don't like the smell or taste. I have also lost many friends and relatives to cancer. I am not trying to put anyone down and certainly anyone can do what they want, I am just saying it is not for me. A tip though if you do smoke, it doesn't matter how much perfume you wear or gum you chew you still smell like smoke. Also I don't hunt. It is not that I have something against it I just don't do it and I don't agree with the way it is being done. Everyone around here uses blinds or tree stands and leaves bait around so they can attract the deer. That to me is fishing. It would seem to me that one of the benefits to hunting would be the chance to exercise and learn to track deer across the land, not drink beer and wait for one to come along. By definition it just seems wrong, when I am hunting for my keys it means I am looking for them not sitting on the couch waiting for them to come to me. I am not a Nascar fan. I know at this point I would seem to be un-american. But I have talked to many fans of Nascar and not one has ever sit and watched a race from start to finish and when I ask what it was they liked about Nascar the number one answer is, "Because they go fast." If you have a different answer then I would like to hear it, and if you are watching because you like cars that go fast why not watch Indy racing? I don't watch nor do I like wrestling. I don't mind a tattoo but I think someone covered in tattoos is tacky. I like manners, I like women to act like ladies and I hope they would want me to be a gentleman. As you can see I am outspoken but loveable. Again everyone is free to be who they are and if you are offended by my comments just remember I am free also nothing says we have to have a relationship of any kind. Have a blessed life.
Update...I did not expect to receive so many messages to my profile. I wouldn't have thought that there were so many who feel the way I do. I certainly didn't realize there were so many who didn't like NASCAR, I have only had one message from someone who likes it. I keep getting ask what I am looking for in a women and to be honest I am not sure. And I hate to say too much for fear this might be a slippery slope. There are many qualities that I find attractive but the bottom line is everything depends on the women. I have seen many profiles from women who say they don't want Drama. I am not sure what that means. By definition life is Drama and in these times I have yet to meet someone who doesn't have Drama in their lives. So for me if you have Drama that's ok just don't let it beat you down. And I don't mean to sound like a jerk but if women didn't like drama then why do they make Soap Operas? Sorry that is just me trying to be funny. And I also see women who don't want any games. I guess I have a different point of view here too. I think relationships are about strategy and maneuvers. Trying to figure out moods and dealing with opinions and all the variables can be a task that rivals Mario Brothers. If you are someone who hates the games maybe your just someone not very good at them. As for religion I would say I am not religious, but I am a Christian. I think religion is too much of man and I hate all the religious politics. But I believe in the Almighty God and marvel at all he has done for me, and Jesus is my savior. To look at my children is to know there is a God and that I am blessed. I have done my homework and feel I have a pretty good grasp of the matter so if you feel like you need to show me the light you better have done your homework.
Update 2…Look, if you made it through the other part of my profile believe me I am flattered and I wouldn’t blame you at all for not wanting to read more about me. These are my views and opinions and like all of you I see things the way I do because of my experiences. I am sorry if I put you off with my views and opinions but I, like everyone, am entitled. Let me just start by saying I am not a breast guy, large breast do not impress me. So if you have large breast and feel I would be the better for knowing they are large think again. I like shapely women as much as the next guy, but it is not so important to me that I am going to want to know or require measurements, pictures, or even surgery information. A good mind and heart is what I find important and if you have amazing eyes and a good sense of humor those are bonuses for me. I personally am all about children and children’s causes and one might say that I am the type person that puts a child’s needs before any animals. So “yes” it is a good thing to care for animals, but if you are going to regale me with stories of all you do for animals just know the whole time I will be wondering what, if anything, you are doing for the needy children of the world. And if you are giving your time and money to animal causes and not giving the same or more to children’s causes then I am going to wonder about you. I love animals and I worked for the Cobb County Humane Society when I lived in Georgia, but I also worked with and for children’s groups too. I tell you that so you know I practice what I preach. At this time I am mainly just giving money because I am working with people who have special needs. For me it is simple, if you care for an animal in return you will get love, loyalty, and companionship. If you care for a child you will get love, loyalty, and companionship, but also you may be helping someone who might grow up to be a doctor who will save lives, a policeman, a teacher, or a future President. You might be helping someone who will grow up to be a Veterinarian and do many wonderful things for animals. To recap though, I am saying helping animals is nice but helping children is vital.
