I am a 35 year old woman that grew up in Chicago on the north side and I still call it my home. I work in advertising and have done that for 13 years. When not at the office, I enjoy movies, clubs, musical theater, attending all kinds of sporting events regularly (especially love my Cubbies baseball) as well as concerts, and spending plenty of time with my family. I also enjoy riding my bike. I LOVE traveling. I've done a bit domestically but have never been outside the country. New York and Vegas are a couple of my favorites. The most exciting thing I did was take a helicopter to the bottom of the Grand Canyon a couple years back. I would recommend it to anyone. Amazing! I did just get a passport though in case I decide to go somewhere in the near future on a whim...perhaps with someone special I'll meet soon. I also have a 1 year old nephew that I'm just in love with. What a joy! I love spending time with him. I'm a goodhearted, patient soul. I care deeply for my friends and have a rather large circle from high school, college and those I've made in my professional career. I have a large immediate family and a very small extended family and we're all very close. I'm looking for someone who likes to do much of the same things that I do and can't wait to start enjoying more together.

First dates can be tough....but I feel drinks and/or dinner or coffee can be nice. Movies, I would never suggest, not for a first date. You can't talk to the person.:) Maybe we can hit one of the many upcoming street fests here in the city?
