I am a warm and friendly person... big on personality and not so hard on the eyes, though the physical chemistry thing is always a bit difficult to predict. :) I am a devoted dad... my kids live with me half the time (on paper), though they are not around as much these days as they are busy teenagers. Go figure! So I find myself with a pretty big chunk of time on my hands.

I like to ride my motorcycle when the weather permits, especially when the leaves are changing. Dancing, sports, reading, and home projects are other interests that I have.

I love music and animals, as I have a yellow lab that keeps me company... she isn't much of a conversationalist however... you can only take so much "woof".. ya know what I mean? :) so drop me a line even if you would just like to chat.

I would NOT allow distance to be a huge determining factor in who I meet or get to know though taking a roadtrip to North Dakota or Illinois or Hawaii probably isn't in the works for me for a couple of years (though the latter sounds awesome!! smile)

I like to dance.. to cook...to read and discuss current events and social issues... playing cards or board games... going for walks, though not necessarily the walks that are cliche on these websites... I am more interested in getting out and getting the heart pumpin :)

I DO have pictures that I can share but prefer not to post them on dating sites for professional reasons.

First "dates" (does anyone else dislike that word?) are always best on the phone... it breaks the ice and makes meeting easier. Then it depends on mutual interests and comfort levels.
