Have you ever noticed that online dating is like grocery shopping? You walk down the isle browsing the selections. You come across something that looks appealing so you pick it up to take a closer look. You read the ingredients on the back label and the cooking instructions and decide if it's worth throwing into the basket or not. If you're shopping on an empty stomach you're probably more likely to throw anything into the basket whereas on most days you stay away from the foods that you know are bad for you.

Ingredients:
I'm your average guy that likes football, tennis, kayaking, golfing, fishing, running, adventure, camping, and pretty well anything else fun that comes up along the way. I'm originally from Annapolis but just moved back to the area this last summer after having spent the past 11 years in the Army. What's that? Why yes of course...I do still have the uniform. Settle down ladies!

I've been very fortunate in my life to have traveled and experienced things that most people dream of. I learned to scuba dive in the Mediterranean, watched a bull fight in Spain, chased after kangaroos in Australia, hiked a volcano in Sicily, shook hands with G.W. in the Oval Office (honestly), went into the locker room of Yankee Stadium, gazed at Michelangelo’s creation of Adam in the Sistine Chapel, and have served alongside the closest friends imaginable. Having experienced all of this I feel there is still so much left for me to see, even here in my own state. A goal of mine is to one day visit all 50 states and all 7 continents. I'd hate to leave this earth one day knowing that I might have missed something.

The type of person I'm looking to meet here would be someone that shares some of the qualities and interests that I've listed above. Preferably someone that is relatively attractive, easy to get along with, dynamic personality, and not afraid to have fun and try new things in life. I'm not looking to jump into anything, but I'm a firm believer in chemistry and wouldn't turn my back on that certain someone. My expectations of this site are to make some new friends at the very least. If I happen to find something more, that's even better.

So if you've made it this far that must mean that either I've got the right ingredients or you read through this thinking to yourself "how can anyone eat this garbage". Hopefully it's not the latter of the two.
