| | I would like to make some good and lasting friends on POF. I am currently working at a job I enjoy. I am looking to meet someone who is articulate in writing as well as in conversation.
I enjoy talking over dinner or coffee, discussing current events or books, cards, and spending time with friends. I like sitting on my gazebo with a cup of coffee and watching the clouds and birds fly by. It is also a great place to read, one of my passions. I am very curious about the world and how and why people act as they do. Just noisy, I guess.
I enjoy people who are passionate about what they do and generally find learning about others very interesting and exciting. People like to talk to me because I tend to be a good listener. Each person we meet is like having a clean slate. When conversation occurs between two people both of them go away with new knowledge and understand of themselves, each other, and the world. How exciting is that! Only through sharing can we learn from each other and begin to share hopes, dreams, and excitement about being alive.
I like to discuss history, spiritualism, personal growth, and psychology. I am an avid reader of a wide variety of non-fiction and would love to discuss with others. I am currently reading “The Four Agreements” by Miguel Ruiz and have “Emotional Freedom” waiting in the wings. (A gift) I enjoy museums, art fairs, flea markets, book stores, gardening, and other activities. I am open to new activities and new experiences.
I would have to say that I am probably more serious than not, but I am passionate about my work, my family, the world, and the people I meet.
I am looking to meet someone who is an intelligent, considerate, honest, and serious/or fun man. If you are interested in conversation, sharing, learning about new experiences, we might have some things in common. Being creative would be a plus.
