I am a very ambitious person. I travel for my job and am gone 75% to 90% of the time. I love to explore new places and learn new things for work and pleasure. For work I have been all over the US. A couple of my favorites have been central CA in the dessert (just south of the Sierra Nevadas, next to the giant Sequoias, and surrounded by desert scenary), Lakewod near Denver (an outdoor lover's dream) and New York of course. And for fun, I have visited a few countries, such as Mexico, Peru, Spain, Russia, Morocco, Germany, France, UK... and I'm not done yet.

My degree is in Anthropology and I love to write. I would like to get back to graduate school in a few years.

I am very much of a thinker. I feel very different than most when it comes to philosophies. I like to read things that make me think. I like to debate or chat with people to learn what they are thinking- perhaps I'll learn something new or attain a new insight. I am very interested in what's going on the world and in politics.

The number one love of my life is music. I listen to mostly indie music, but love and listen to all kinds. I love to be outside. I run religiously, although I'm not thin. I love nature. I often do long hikes by myself. I also love to be with friends and laugh. I really enjoy a nice cabernet/Merlot or IPA beer. I have a lot of interests and passions, but I should leave a little for future conversations.

I'm recently divorced and have found it awkward to start dating again. I have no drama in my life. I'm looking for someone that has the same likes to spend a little time with when I'm in town.

My dog Fugly is the funniest thing on this planet to me. just thought I'd add that in there...
