I am a strong women who likes dancing (especially waltzing), singing, cooking, reading for quiet time, hiking, camping, fishing, vegetable gardening, bar-b-ques, and would like to learn to sail. I am empathic and analytical by nature. I enjoy traveling (have been to Norway, Winnipeg Canada, Honduras, Japan and England). I am currently working towards a degree in Nutritional Science and Botany. I am also a Reiki Master, a student of Metaphysics and have studied Theology. I enjoy and like the me I have become and I am looking for someone who is also comfortable in their own skin.

I'm looking for a long-term relation with someone who is tall, friendly, compassionate, has a sense of humor, is outgoing, open minded, likes animals, likes musicals, plays (& opera); Honesty and Integrity is a must, as is an understanding of metaphysics. I am not interested in someone who likes to play mind games or is a control freak.

My favorite movies are from the 40's and 50's. I enjoy singing and would like to find someone that enjoys singing too. My hobbies include needle craft and gardening. I am comfortable at home or in a social situation. I am probably more comfortable in blue jeans and a T-shirt, but I also like to dress up and go out. I am fairly fit, and enjoy walking, but I'm not much into "dedicated fitness programs you do daily". Oh yes, one last thing, I retired from the Air Force in 2003

Getting to know someone on a first date is always a little nerve racking...this really hasn't change much in all these years. What I like to do is spend time talking and getting to know someone. A coffee shop is a wonderful place to meet for the first time (as long as it's after the morning rush). There's just enough people around to allow light conversation without feeling intimidated by the meeting.
