I’m a tennis teacher/coach on the North Shore, but spent a lot of years as a financial professional. I enjoy working with kids and never tire of it. My own kids are grown, so I can do what I want, more or less.

I’m tall, considered very smart and hilariously funny, and a regular-guy in an everyday sort of way. I enjoy art, movies, any kind of music, the outdoors, good food and wine, cooking, driving along the shore with the top down, and pretty much anything fun. I am an avid reader of classic literature, urban and historical fiction and non-fiction, and, of course, tennis technique and physical training books. I'm very interested in discovering places and other people and cultures. I value openness and honesty, am very patient and generous, and, though Howard Stern (no, I don't listen to him) says there's no such man, sensitive.

I love being in the company of extremely bright, eclectic women and confess to a somewhat amusing fondness for long hair, glasses and overbites.

Bread, wine and cheese on a blanket in a gigantic field of wildflowers, warm cider and old-fashioned doughnuts by a fireplace, tennis and lemonade on a hot sunny afternoon, reading you a story (with voices) on a bench overlooking the ocean, trying on hats in NYC, sharing a nice bottle of wine during a summer thunderstorm, shooting tin cans with a .22 rifle.
