Well, to start...I'm a "fly by the seat of my pants" kind of gal who embraces life & the curves it throws me. I believe everything happens for a reason, all difficult times are character building opportunities & that you can tell a lot about a person by the choices they make in those times.

I'm an open, honest, easy going, caring, intelligent & independent woman who isn't looking for someone to "complete me" or take care of me, nor am I looking to complete or take care of anyone else.

My friends are extremely important to me and are always a big part of my life. I'm also very close with my family, they're the most important people in my life, as I wouldn't be who I am if it weren't for them.

I love to laugh, joke & just have fun. I'm a bit sarcastic & enjoy good conversation including a good friendly debate once in a while. I love spontaneity, resist routine, love trying things I've never done before, meeting new people and just enjoying life as it comes. I'm very open-minded, I never "judge a book by its cover", don't use stereotypes and try to see the good in everyone. I love to travel & have had the opportunity to travel some but there are still so many places I want to visit. I like almost all kinds of music, love to dance, enjoy watching hockey (live, not so much on tv), canoeing, white water rafting & the odd round of golf.

I surround myself with positive people (because attitude is everything) but I'm always there for a friend in need.

About you......someone independent, confident (but not too confident), easy going, honest, fun with a good sense of humour & similar values. Someone who isn't intimidated by a successful, self-reliant woman. One who enjoys trying new things, even if you're not good at it & won't judge if I'm not either but will just laugh with me & enjoy the experience.

I am a firm believer that every great relationship must begin with a friendship, so I'm not looking to rush into anything.
