I have just spent the last 3 years caring for my parents. They are gone now & I am wanting to get my life back. I want to have someone to share hopes, dreams, laughs, & good times. If I am blessed I may find what my parents had, a match made in heaven. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, horse back riding, camping, snowshoeing. I love the change of seasons with Winter and Autumn being my favorite. I like to stay fit, but with caring for my parents, I have not had much time for it. So I need to get back to daily power walking and strenghth training. I enjoy reading mysteries & suspense. My hobbies of poetry and photography have led to creating greeting cards. I do not follow fads. I hear a different tune than most. I like what I hear. I am looking forward to my retirement from the military at the end of the year. It will give me more time for a garden, riding, hiking, traveling or whatever I choose to do. I have put dating in for what I am looking for. Not opposed to activities or long term. Just taking it slow.
