(FYI... This photo was taken in December of 2008) The greatest passion in my life has been music. I have been involved in it since I got my first guitar at 13 (and I still play and sing a little everyday). Of course back then I had my rock band and played through most of the 60's and 70's. We actually were pretty good. And what a great way to helped put yourself through college while having all that fun. But of course, at some point I had to get a "real job". I love and appreciate all types of music (live as well as recorded).

But I also have an intellectual side. I am quite articulate. I try to stay abreast of what's going on in the world on a daily basis. I enjoy discussing the events one on one or in a group.

I love the YANKEES and strive to lead a healthy lifestyle (without getting "too nuts"). EVERYTHING IN MODERATION is my motto. I try to stay in good shape and have an active life (I think I must have done a pretty good job in that area, everyone tells me I look much younger than I am). Of course I can't take ALL the credit for that, good genes definitely help.

Getting back to my intellectual side, I am passionate about history. I find it fascinating. That's probably why I love to travel so much. I also consider myself to be fairly artistic. I love to learn about new things and enjoy all types of museums, art as well as historic.

Always the incurable romantic, having and sharing that special relationship with someone helps to fill that certain void in your life. But most importantly, everyone who knows me thinks I'M VERY FUNNY. I always try to find the humor in every situation.

My perfect relationship would be one that is 50 - 50. Each person contributing in their own way to the TOTAL. A true sharing of the important things in both of our lives. Of course there must be chemistry, but above all there must be FRIENDSHIP and TRUST.

We have now emailed back and forth and had a few phone conversations (and hopefully some laughs, too)... it's now time for the big moment... the all important indescribable "chemistry" test.

Most important to me is making the other person comfortable for the first meeting. It may be for a cup of coffee... or a drink... or even dinner on a Saturday night. Most importantly the venue should have some atmosphere and be on the "quiet side". I always want to be able to hear everything the other person is saying and for them to be able to hear me. Other than the obvious "visual" attraction, conversation is what the chemistry is truly built on.

Hopefully, this first meeting will last longer than we both expected... and lead to many more.
