I first came here hoping to find the whole to my hole, but have since changed course. I don't believe in finding the other half of me so much as I believe that discovering that other half is more a matter of unexpected collision that's best uncovered by natural means. I believe in the laws of attraction and when that fails, there's always a good hypnotist around somewhere, right?

I try to keep up on world events though I've never been overly political except for wanting to do a bit better by our planet and to tell the truth, too much of what's on the news is pretty damn depressing.

I'm a sarcastic, easy-going guy who loves coffee, writing, the great outdoors or just kicking back with friends and watching a good movie. I've a creative imagination who considers my writing to be not only free mental therapy, but also a doorway of expressing myself and reflecting on the things inside me that sometimes even I never knew where there. I love horror movies and watching other's reactions to watching them, especially if they are easily frightened by them! Let The Right One In, The Midnight Meat Train and Martyrs are a few of my recent favourates. Can't beat a good comedy now and again as well, such as Wedding Crashers, Rat Race, and Superbad to name a few that have made me laugh my ass off. Though I'm not a big fan of organized religion, I consider myself to more spiritual than anything in my belief systems. I've been told I can be rather stubborn at times, but I try to keep myself open to new perspectives while staying true to my own values. In other words, I believe in be open minded but ot so open that ones brains fall out.

I am in the midst of reinventing myself since the company I last worked for shut down. Never being one to wait for things to happen, I changed gears, moved to a new city and am eagerly waiting to enjoy a couple of years as a semi-starving student at Fanshawe while working on the side.

Some other things I like:

- Watching the sun rise and then enjoying watching as the city begins to awaken once more.
- Thunderstorms
- Live music, particularly rock and blues (so glad I caught Jeff Healey at the Blues fest the other year)
- The smell and feel just after a good rain
- Heavenly hash ice cream
- people who aren't afraid to act silly once in a while, even when others are watching
- people watching - trying to guess people's secret alias's and undercover lives can be hours of untaped, free entertainment!
- hiking
- cooking and sharing my own tasty creations
- exploring new places I've yet to visit
- Saturday morning cartoons
- challenging myself to grow outside of my comfort zone
- finishing a short story I can be proud of
- reeses pieces butter cups

Some things I dislike:

- conceited people
- wearing wet jeans
- gangsta rap or people who think it's cool to be gangsta. Seriously, grow up, dude!
- Hollywood remakes when the original was doing just fine.
- being interrupted during a conversation - unless its to be kissed
- open cupboard doors or drawers in a room (don't ask me why)
- chronic complainers
- generally rude, or inconsiderate people

Coffee, walkabout, hike, face painting, something not in the norm. Dinner and movie interviews are highly over rated, though a movie and someone cooking isn't such a bad idea. :)
