Writing about yourself is never easy, you don't want to come off as sounding like a snob, crazy or self centered, but here it goes.

My name is Amy and I am 34 years old. I have spent the last few years searching for myself through my career and while that worked, it didn't provide me with much time to focus on my personal life. I have recently decided to return to school and pursue my Masters in History with the intention to teach high school in the near future. I am very happy about the path that my career is taking and now I am ready to work on the personal side, to create an equal balance if you will.

I have a tendency to be a bit sarcastic at times and I can be a little shy when I am just getting to know someone. I love to travel and am looking forward to doing more of that. One of the things that I want to do before I die is to visit each state in the US and go to Scotland to the Church of the Holy Rude.

I have a love of board games Scrabble, Monopoly, and Trivial Pursuit would rank as my favorite. I enjoy going to Great Adventure, Hershey Park and Dorney Park, I love going on the rides. I go to Wildwood NJ as often as I can, it would be one of my favorite places in the state of NJ. I also enjoy skiing and have been all over Vermont, Tahoe and of course NJ doing that.

I love to spent a Saturday at a local flea market looking for a hidden treasure or something unique for my place. I also enjoy going to the local drive-in movie theater, it brings back a sense of wonder that I had as a kid. I also enjoy camping and am excited that I will have more time to do that this summer.

Ok so enough about me, now to what I am looking for. I am looking for a decent guy that knows who he is and is comfortable with that. He should have a wicked sense of humor and be able to find the funny in all situations, but know when it is not appropriate to laugh out loud. He can dress like a slob 99% of the time, but looks like James Bond when the occasion calls for it. He should have an opinion on the classic debate of who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman and that opinion should mirror my own which is of course Superman.

I am looking for a guy who like camping, hiking, football and baseball, but who would not be opposed to spending the day in a museum or walking around a flea market with me. I am also looking for a guy who not only knows who Andrew Dice Clay is, but would be as excited as I am that he is coming to Sussex County.

Long story short I am looking to start the next chapter in my life and the someone to help me write it. It is very important to me that we build a friendship first and let whatever is going to happen happen naturally. I am not looking to rush into anything, but I am looking to meet some nice guys and see what develops.
