I am about to begin another chapter in my life. My only child is a senior in high school and will be attending college in the Fall. Divorced for 13 years, my life has been focused on raising a terrific son, running a successful business, staying healthy and fit (physically, emotionally and spiritually) and finding time to enjoy all the pleasures that life has to offer. I have much to be grateful for and yet… I know that the best is yet to come.

I believe that life is meant to be shared by two people that compliment each other. It is not out of need … but because the two together are better than each individually. I seek a partner in every sense… the last great love of my life … that special man who knows that his life is better because I am in it. I bring a lot to the table… and you do too!

A little about me…

Not your average 50 something year old… I don’t look it, act it, or feel it. I am 5’2”, 103 lbs, in great shape because I take care of myself. Most mornings you will find me in the gym as this is an important start to my day, both physically and emotionally. My friends will tell you that I am honest, open and extremely loyal. They describe me as multi-faceted… passionate about everything but easy-going too. I am positive, focused and disciplined yet, I am spontaneous, playful and I love to have fun. The competitive nature of my business requires me to be assertive and strong yet I am sensitive, sensual and very feminine. I am creative and artistic but, with a business mind. I am kind and understanding, always finding the good in every person or situation.

For fun I run, hike and play tennis, snow ski out west and love anything associated with the beach. Good food and wine is meant to be shared and I love cooking and entertaining for friends. Music stimulates my senses and makes me want to dance. I grew up listening to rock. These days, I frequently find myself listening to jazz and fusion although I have an appreciation for most types of music.

Energetic and adventurous describes me to a tee! No matter what my age, there will always be a young girl living inside me who is curious and loves taking risks. Recently I returned from a sailing trip around the BVIs when one afternoon I found myself suddenly swimming among a pod of Dolphins. There are so many more places to visit and things to experience in the second half of my life… Certainly all of these things would be more memorable when shared with a life partner.

A little about you…

My ideal match is a man who is emotionally available. Like all of us, he has experienced his share of life’s ups and downs. He has any residual baggage tucked away and, he is now open to finding his one last love. He is kind, honest and loyal…. a one woman man who is ready to commit to the right woman when the time is right.

My match will be my best friend, confidante and cheerleader. He loves communication and willingly shares his innermost thoughts and feelings. He has a deep appreciation for what is on the inside of a person as well as the outside. He is open-minded, passionate and playful, with a great sense of humor.

My match will need to be athletic and energetic in order to keep up with me. It would be great if he also played tennis. As best friends, we will do things together but, also have our own separate interests to pursue. He is focused and successful at work but, he knows how to let loose and have fun too… My man appreciates his lady and knows that life is better because of her.
