I'm currently working security for Marathon oil refinery after being laid off from my job at the steel company. I'm also trying to making a career change into law enforcement. Being laid off "HAS NOT" put me in a deep dark depression but I have made some adjustments. I would like to be friends first and establish a good rapport with someone. This should sustain some of the pressures of getting to know each other because i'm not in a rush, are you? I'd like to meet someone that has balance in their life, don't mind getting out or staying in. I was in the clubs from age 19-44 that's 23 years, I'm done. If or when I get involved with someone, I want it to happen naturally. I'm not going to force or fight whatever happens. I'm just a humble average working man getting his life back on track after being laid off. So with that being said, let's become friends and enjoy each other's company. I know some of you have not been effected by the economy like some of us, so I ask you not pass judgement and please take the time to get to know me. I didn't say much about myself because I don't have any sales pitches. I'll leave it up to you to judge my character. I have nothing to hide or lie about because i'd rather you walk away from the truth than a lie, thanks.

I'd like to have a meet and greet at a place like Star bucks first. If there's any chemistry and we really enjoy each others company, we can take it from there. This will also give me an idea of where to go for the first date. But if the chemistry is not there, we should be man and woman enough to let the other person know that there's no real interest and we want to keep out options open.
