I want to someday build an underground city. I know I can't do this on my own, so I am seeking a support network, partner(s), friends, future wife, etc. I am unique, just like everybody else! I was a Boy Scout and scout leader, though I am not currently involved. I would like to get back into that someday too. Yet in some ways I take that with me wherever I go. A scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpfull, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerfull, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. Those points make up the scout law. The scout oath: on my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty, to God and my country, to help other people at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
Windmills harm birds and hydroelectric dams take away too much surface land that would be more productive as forrest or farmland. Solar cells in conjunction with batteries is a reliable source of electricity. Geothermal-binary is the best long-term solution to our energy needs. Just say no to nuclear power; it costs more to store and safeguard the waste than they will ever get for the energy; it's a money pit and burden on our future. Our politicians need to invest more and spend less. Consumer spending, though driving our economy in the short term, will destroy us in the long term. Instead of consuming our resources, we should invest more of them. One of the best investments would be a cheap way to leave this planet: a space elevator. Another investment would be to carve out and reinforce huge underground caverns in which to build cities so as not to use up all the dwindling surface space we have left. If we build it they will come.
Another way I hope to contribute to the world is to promote the use of salt batteries for the new electric cars. They are currently in use in trains, and would be perfect for cars, plus they are environmentally friendly since they are non-toxic. Sodium is less expensive than lithium. I would like to start a business manufacturing them. They could also be used along with solar cells to provide back-up power for home and business applications. Investors feel free to contact me.
I like a variety of music. I like parodies, like what Weird Al Yancovik puts out. I have a rather eclectic taste in things but at the same time, practicality trumps frills. I don't actually own a car at the moment. I am looking rather keenly at the Chevy Volt though.
What I meant by "I want it all" is that I'm as much interested in finding a hang-out buddy or group as I am in any of the other categories. I am interested in a pen pal, e-mail pal, phone chat pal, long-term relationship, dating, friends, intimate encounter (within the hope and structure of a long term relationship), activity partner, or a blending/merging of any of the above. And who knows what may develope? A platonic friendship may blossom into a lifelong marriage. (That's the best kind.)

Ok, so I am unique just like everyone else, I have conservative opinions as well as liberal even radical ones. I'm a great guy; I'm just shy in person until I warm up to a person or group and get to know them. Once I get to know someone, I can be very generous and warm. Take a chance. Get to know me.

I would meet in a park or other public place where we both know where it is, so there's no chance of getting lost. Then I would see where it goes from there. Perhaps we would just hang out chatting and walking. On a hot summer day I like to browse an air conditioned store... heh heh...
The best things in life are free, and in that spirit, I think the best first dates should be something as inexpensive as possible. I think people would rather be showered with affection than money.
