Okay, where do I start? I am a high school science teacher and a volleyball coach. I have a bachelor's in chemistry and am currently working on my master's degree. If time and money allow, I would love to finish that in the next two years. As well as coaching volleyball, I also like to play. I prefer sand now that I am used to running in it, but the good ol' court is still fun too. I consider myself more of a baker than a cook, but I'd like to think I'm not too bad at cooking either. I like wine and would love to learn more about it. My favorite is a RED (not white) zinfandel. I prefer yellow roses to red. I love going downtown (Chicago), but can hardly find people to go with me because of the parking and cost. I am not a coffee drinker. I am an Aries, and although some of that stuff is weirdly accurate (such as how stubborn I can be), I don't believe in it. I love good movies, not only chick flicks. I also learn a lot from my father and am pretty handy "for a girl". It made me a more independent person, but I still enjoy being around people most of the time. I admit that I sometimes sing out loud in the car and don’t care who is watching. I love Aerosmith, but usually listen to alternative music (101.9 here in Chicago) Anything other than that, you’ll have to get to know me to find out.

I'm looking for someone who does not smoke, does not do drugs, does not drink excessively, someone who is intelligent, financially secure, motivated, is open to new things, has a job and a car (possibly making exceptions for a city person that can get around with public transportation), and does not run away from problems. Just an added comment: reading profiles and looking at the pictures you post is how people are going to get their first impression of you, so why do guys post pictures of themselves giving the middle finger, not fix the spelling and bad grammar errors they have every other word, post pictures with previous girlfriends cut out of EVERY PICTURE, or pictures showing off your body in every picture? (I can understand that people are proud of the body they work to achieve, but one picture of that is enough.) That's going to attract only certain types of girls, and I'm not that type.
