I love Portland, I'll say that right now. I moved here almost two years ago for school, and don't really see a reason to leave. I am a big fan of music and books, I can't work properly or drive without hearing music, and I carry a book with me everywhere I go. My favorite bands are They Might Be Giants, Modest Mouse, The Decemberists, the Arctic Monkeys, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin. Authors, I'm a huge fan of Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Geoff Johns, Chuck Palahniuk, John Steinbeck, and Mark Z. Daniewlski. All around, yes, I'm a nerd. I'm proud of it, and I don't particularly care what you think of it, I am who I am.
I do like football, and my favorite team is of course the seahawks.
Currently, I work in Salem Hospital as a cook. It's a low position, but it pays well, has benefits, and I'm working my way up. In my free time I like to do some writing, and playing my saxaphone. I kinda want to put together an instrumental group playing old school video game themes, but that's something down the road...

lots of things we could do. OMSI or the Portland Art Museum. With the warmer weather the rose garden or one of the other gardens around here, maybe the zoo? And there's the tried and true beer at a bar, or blues cafe or something. My favorite is just the quiet night at home, walking around the area, maybe watching a movie or something...
