About Me
My favorite hobby is scrap booking. I started in high school and have grown to love preserving my memories in a creative way. I love to read books, especially series books. Once I read one I have to continue! I have a hard time watching movies that are based off of books, because usually they aren't what you expect. I love to go on walks listening to my Ipod. My favorite walks are late at night when the world is asleep and I have energy. I'm *always* listening to music whether it's on my computer, stereo, or ipod. Classic Rock and Country are my favorite genres. I have MANY favorite artists, but my all time favorite band is Journey. I saw them in concert and it was epic! I enjoy the occasional bar hopping night, mostly with live music. I'm pretty open to music. I also love bagpipes! I'm in the hotel industry and I absolutely love my job as a front desk clerk. I have talked with people from Germany, Norway, France, Australia, France, ect. ect. It's so neat talking to people from all parts of the world and seeing why they chose to come to Duluth, Minnesota, of all places! I love being able to help someone's stay in the city be as good as it can be. As far as college goes I took 3 years at a University, but am now taking a break. I am planning on going back, I just want to be totally sure on my choice of a major when I do. I'm excited to go back sometime, because I know I'll be ready to focus on the classes and do my best. So far I have the hospitality industry, writing, psychology, and social work in mind. Wide variety--obviously I still have some deciding to do.
Well, this is probably way too much info for a profile...but there you have it! An introduction to me! Oh yeah, I should also mention that I am a Christian. I must say that you must have some belief in God if we're going to be able to create anything solid.
First Date
It depends on what stage of the relationship one is at. The beginning stages it's always good going to a coffee shop (if you like coffee of course), perhaps somewhere more crowded like a park or bar (not getting wasted of course) so the atmosphere is casual. *My* epic date would be after we know each other really well. I have a couple ideas in mind (I'm a hopeless romantic, fyi!) but one is after having an amazing dinner & conversation, bringing a blanket to the beach at night when no one else is there. Warm summer night, of course :)
