Looking for people who have intelligence, originality, a passionate curiosity and an irrepressible love of life. Those qualities are rare anywhere, but In Dayton they seem to be almost mythical.(i aspire to those qualities myself, with varying degrees of success)

I'm convinced that ranch dressing, mainstream radio, and most popular entertainment are all Satan's tools to erode the beauty of our souls through the repeated application of bland mediocrity. Except of course that I don't believe in Satan.

I cook. A lot. I make a hummus that you would sell out your country for...others have.

Best Cheese? Feta. Definately feta.

I use my bike. A lot. I use my library card. A lot. I use my common sense. Somewhat less than a lot.

I don't trust girls who are too girly and guys who are too manly, people who think with their guts, and people who believe their god-creature hates anyone/anything.

Books and art and film and music: things that are original. Usually that means old and/or foreign and/or independent. Vonnegut, Kundera, Robbins - Neon movies, Criterion Collection - Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Bright Eyes, Portishead, Nina Simone, Al Green, Coldplay, and much obscure stuff.

NPR, NYTimes, This American Life, World Cafe, vegetarian (mostly), yoga, used bookstores, thrift stores for funky clothing and furnishings
