Hobbies: Listening to music, playing guitar, hiking, kayaking, the outdoors in general, beer

Goals/Aspirations: I'm constantly expanding my knowledge of the profession I'm in and learning something new everyday. I aspire to use that knowledge, along with my creativity, to solve key issues in my field. I'd also one day like to be a parent, or at least be a strong infleuntial figure in someone's life.

What makes me unique: I love the finer things in life, but without being a snob about it. I have a yearning to try out new things - such as expanding my music collection, trying a beer I've never tried before, traveling to places I've never been before, etc.

Music: Really just about anything. With time and enough listens, I can learn to appreciate music that I'm not familiar with or just don't like on the first listen. I generally listen to alternative, indie, folk, punk, crazy experimental stuff, hip-hop, classic/hard rock.

Random facts:
I grew up outside of Philly, but moved to NJ a few months ago.

Distance doesn't really matter that much to me (unless I find myself driving over an hour and a half to visit you), I do a fair bit commuting all over NJ and parts of PA for my job, so I'm used to it.

I'm really carefree and easy-going. I'm pretty much the opposite of arrogant, whatever that word is haha (humble?). It's pretty hard to make me mad, but very easy to make me laugh.

I took 5 years of German but don't remember a damn thing. I'm very much a visual learner.

I like meeting up somewhere not too noisy that I can't have a conversation but not too quiet either (i.e., small bar, restaurant, etc). Also somewhere where I'm not likely to run into anyone that I know - I feel that it's important to get to know my date as much as possible the first time we meet up and to devote that time to doing just that without getting too sidetracked.
