I’m a happy, optimistic man who likes to laugh – I try to see the humor in everything. I think of myself as witty, and my sense of humor often has a sarcastic edge.

I’ve lived long enough to have some established likes and dislikes. I like to read, but watch little TV. I’m politically aware, but belong to neither major party (I’m an Independent). I love camping and photographing nature. I like eating out, especially at restaurants with patios. I have a great job that I enjoy very much, though I do have some curmudgeonly colleagues. I deeply appreciate beauty, and occasionally even pen a sophomoric poem about it. I like kids and think I’m good with them, though I have none of my own.

I am addicted to coffee but don’t smoke cigarettes. I confess to enjoying the occasional cigar, and like most guys, I like having a few beers on the weekends.

I won't say that I don't have any baggage, we all aquire it as we wander through this world. It is a small bag. A carry on at most. I can store it under the seat in front of me.
