I had a profile here a few months now and so now I figure I' ll cut the BS and just say what I want. I want to be in a relationship where I feel the guy is mentally,financially, and physically stable. I prefer a geek since I am one myself. I don't believe in perfect but I know what I want. If you are clingy or the kind of guy who has to always be with his girlfriend , stop reading now. I am an individual and like spending time alone. While that is true, sometimes it is nice to go out with someone else. I hope to retain both aspects in a relationship. I am a videographer and work part time in a library. I have been slowly working on a documentary and am planning to go back to college. I want to get another degree. I am into indie movies and music. While I love arts and culture I also adore going to Phillies games with my dad. I find it hard to break down my interests. I guess I could say it is the art in life. I love anything odd and creative be it Ripley's and Guinness like facts, architecture of Gaudi, Wright, or Gehry , paintings, anthropology or tricked out cars. Variety in life is essential. To me it is all about seeing new places and learning new things. But I also like sitting at home playing video games and watching movies. I like all kinds but lean toward comedy and sci-fi. I also have an addiction to the Travel Channel. That is mostly due to my love of cultures and desire to learn new things. In other words I like life when it isn't falling in the same mundane pattern. I pride myself on being down to earth. With the exception of liking to wear make up and going to cultural events I am pretty low maintenance. As far as smoking or drinking go: I quit smoking about a year and a half ago. If offered a smoke I will still take one (and just one). I only drink alcohol about 5 times a year. I don't love it or feel I need it. I am uninhibited without drinking so what's the point. I think I should add I love kids but I don't want to be a step-mom. I want to have my own kid ( just one) before I'm 40. I am 30 now so there's time. I am very close with my parents. If my future child loves me any where near as much as I love them I'll be very lucky.

First meeting: Coffee and a bagel at Einstein at Green Tree. Meet and greet. First real (realistic date):1. We meet at a quality but not insanely pricey Italian restaurant like Spaghetti Spaghetti House or Pasta Pomadore. We take our time with dinner then decide to go see an indie movie at the Ritz. We don't want the evening to end too soon so we head over to a diner like Sage or Ponzio's and talk till morning. 2. We meet at either Mixto or Effie's on Pine. We have a nice long dinner then take a walk on South Street
Dream first date: You call me up and inform me you have tickets to a show or concert I'd like, gallery opening, a museum or Phillies game. For dinner and surprise me with a real class restaurant I've never been before. (not too spicey food though) After the event (if we are in Philly, NYC, or AC we would take a walk and talk weather permitting.
As you may gather I love walk and talks outside on nice evenings.
