hope you're not disappointed...

I'm a hard-working single mother of 1 looking for someone to spend my non-Mommy time with. I love going to see live music (rock, blues, jazz), comedy and theater but sometimes I like to be a couch potato. You don't need to love Elvis as much as I do but it would probably make it more bearable for you if you do. My favorite vacation spot is Las Vegas as I have a fondness for all things cheesy. It's also chock-full of Elvis impersonators. I'm smart, funny, near-sighted, a snuggler, extremely profane when there are no small children present and it is next to impossible to shock or offend me. I love to laugh, make other people laugh and of course laugh at myself. I'm never embarassed or self-conscious being myself (although I've seen some pictures that indicate that I should be). I revel in the things that bring me joy uninhibitedly.

I want what any sane, normal, red-blooded human being wants. I want someone that I am physically, sexually, psychologically and emotionally attracted to. I want someone who makes me laugh so hard that tears come to my eyes and I have to hold my sides. I want someone who really, really, REALLY knows how to kiss. And flirt, man I miss flirting...

I don't have a "type", I have preferences. I date caucasian men exclusively. I prefer tall men because I am a tall woman. I am not particularly attracted to bald men. As far as body type, hair color, eye color, slim, athletic, heavy, average and all the other labels are concerned I'm not overly impressed by a pretty face with nothing going on behind it. Physical attractiveness is subjective. Humor, passion and intellegence will always be sexy. I'm also extremely sensitive to smell, i.e the better you smell the friendlier I become.

I have no expectations for what I may or may not find on this site. I'm "putting myself out there" as all my married friends are so fond of saying.

What I would like to do on a first date is impress you so much that you wonder where I've been your whole life but barring that a quiet neighborhood bar where we can talk and hoist a few will be sufficient.
