Writing about myself is not an easy thing to do. What to say, without sounding boastful, or then again, leaving out a part about me that you might want to know. So, I'll do my best, because it's important to me that the person I meet doesn't feel like they are meeting someone 'so unlike themselves'.

I don't necessary believe that someone has to be exactly like me, or like all the same things I do, to be compatible with me. I think one of life's greatest pleasures is finding new interests, sharing things I know or do, and having someone share what they have found with me. I think that having common interests and base personalities does help get a relationship off to a good start, but I think even people with common traits will have problems if they don't continually look for new things to share and experience with their partner.

I enjoy staying healthy and being active outdoors. I think it is important to stay healthy (looking healthy just happens when you do). I hike, work out at the gym and ride a mountain bike regularly. I also whitewater kayak, camp, backpack and go dirt bike riding several times a year.

I believe that life is too short. Work hard, and play hard is my motto.

I like to try and learn new things.

I love music ~ all kinds. Classic rock, indie, punk, new wave, heavy metal..... I like going to concerts and live music venues.

I am a calm and quiet person, but I like to laugh and kid around too. I am serious when the situation calls for it, and most people like that I am sensitive to their feelings. I like to have fun and I make sure I balance work with play, so that neither suffer. I own my own business and love what I do.
