I'm a happy, active, and honest person. I love weekend getaways and special evenings to remember, lazy rainy days and soft summer nights. I love watching sunsets! Oh, and weekend mornings when I don't have to get up at 5 a.m., just get a cup of coffee and enjoy! Probably my favorite thing to do is just head for the country and drive down a two lane road and enjoy the ride. You can take the girl out of the country...

Family is important to me. My children are grown and we have fun together. My granddaughter is probably the brightest, most beautiful child I've ever known-I only have the one so I can say that!

My favorite movies are comedy and action adventure. The Bourne movies are a favorite. I enjoy reading, just finished BLACK WIND by Clive Cussler. Music is a passion; live or not--love country western and old rock and roll, classical and instrumental. I also enjoy theater, mostly local. My favorite sport to watch is Hockey-Go Stars. Baseball, but it's better in person so you get the atmosphere.

I make quilts or at least I make the quilt tops-I have them machine quilted. I love the uniqueness that my color choices give a project and how it can make the same pattern look different. I especially love making the "Angel Quilts" my guild donates to Scottish Rite hospital. I like to think my quilts bring warmth and love to the children and families who receive them them.

My dreams? Become a published author, I write fiction. I want to cruise up to Alaska and catch Salmon from a rushing river and see Mt. McKinley. White water rafting in the Grand Canyon sounds fun.

And I want to find someone to spend the rest of my life with. Someone special who thinks holding hands and just being together, no matter the activity, is the best part of any day. I know hopeless romantic.
