I'm a pretty laid back Army veteran (5 years as a combat medic); moved up here to go to school not so long ago. Just looking for some people to get to know and have fun with, maybe more if we click. My school is composed entirely of guys- not the place to seek female companionship. Basically I just want to go out and have a good time. Whatever comes of it is fine by me. No strings, no drama, no BS. Life is entirely too short, ironic, and paradoxical to take seriously.

I enjoy a number of different things, but my major hobbies involve making things out of metal and working on cars/bikes/and, since moving to Colorado, 4x4s. I've been riding since I was 13 (raced dirtbikes) and it has never gotten old. I spend as much time as possible on two wheels. My Harley FXR doesn't get a lot of rest.

I'm a freak when it comes to music- my tastes know very few genre limitations but in general if it wasn't music made with passion, I could care less. I primarily listen to metal, hard rock, punk, and industrial but in my 7200+ track iTunes folder you'll see everything from bluegrass to classical to reggae to... well, you won't find much pop, anyway. I've played the drums for 15 years. I read- a LOT. I love being outdoors, especially up in the mountains. Camping, hiking, trailrunning, wheeling: the beauty of this state never wears out.

Well, I'm not big on sitting in a dark theater and staring at a screen and not speaking. The point of a first "date" is to get to know the person you're with- in other words, let's talk and find out how we relate. Coffee, hiking, sushi, walking in the park.... anything sound good to you?
