ABOUT ME:

In many ways I'm a man's man. I enjoy getting together with friends, fishing, NFL football (Go BEARS!), politics and the outdoors. But I also enjoy the finer things in life like live music, plays, Ravinia, bike rides, etc. Coffee on my deck while reading the Sunday paper is a favorite guilty pleasure.

People describe me as one of the funniest people they know. I'm also honest to a fault. I've got a lot of friends but I've known my best buddy since 7th grade. I'm strong willed but not too stubborn. I really appreciate intelligent people and conversation. I'm a bit liberal in my political beliefs.

I have residential custody of my 11 year old son. He's mini-me and the absolute center of my universe. He keeps me young and young at heart. He's a smart kid and he shares my penchant for telling it like it is. He'll be a priority in my life until I die.

I have a great professional job and I've worked for the same company, a global real estate developer, for 20 years now. I love what I do and the people I work with.

I'm getting in better shape but I am what the good Lord made me. Life's too short not be healthy but I'm never going to be "20 something" again. I'd expect you to be healthy too or on your way there. It would be great if we could inspire each other in this regard.

I'm clean-cut and don't take illegal drugs or smoke. These are "deal breakers" for me.

I was raised Catholic but consider myself spiritual, not religious.

ABOUT YOU:
I'm looking for a woman who shares my dedication to family and friends and some of my interests. She'll love kids and dogs and have a great sense of humor. Ideally she'll be intelligent and pretty as well as confident and happy. She'll be honest and classy and she won't have a cat unless she's OK with me sneezing all the time. :-)
