About Me
Sensational Suitor seeks Stunning Scheherezade for Sumptuous Storytelling.
Come and enjoy the company of an interesting, eclectic & unique person. There will be both chilled out and more adventurous activities - outings to galleries, festivals, cooking for friends, museums, quality drinking venues[1], clubs, lots of chatting, walks and rides in the countryside, films, various computer stuff[2] and most definitely cats - I have two, and you need to like them.
There will also be time for each person, so that we can get on with our own projects and lives (in my case cooking, mountain biking, kayaking, programming, sculpture and helping the bi community[3]) - after all, the point of life is to actually contribute something back to society. If we're involved in some of each other's activities, that's even better!
Of late I have really enjoyed using my new mountain bike, started kayaking and am keeping up on the yoga. I love living near the countryside, although I can easily get into Manchester as well.
Likewise, I'm busy learning various computer stuff in my own time, trying to be arty and cooking and baking. Having friends round to watch films and cook for each other is rather good at increasing my culinary range.
However (the dreaded small print) there will be no children, probably no dogs, no smoking or drug taking around me (apart from alcohol), very little television and definitely no silly games - I will not chase you if you play hard to get.
There's loads of new experiences out there, why don't you message me and we can find a few more!
Favourites :
Books by Robin Hobb, Peter F Hamilton, Dante, Melanie Rawn, Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman various graphic novels. Basically decent SF, fantasy and classics.
Films : Blues Brothers, 12 Monkeys, Brazil, most other stuff by Terry Gilliam, Batman Begins, Room With A View, Catch Me If You Can, The Matrix (*only* the first one), Ronin and loads other stuff
Music : Lately I have been listening to Annie Lennox, Paul Simon, Art of Noise, Debussy, Tomita, Mussorgsky, Goldfrapp, Pink, Rossini, the Righteous Brothers, k d Lang, Sash, Wumpscut and REM
Computer games : Oblivion, Ultima, Planescape:Torment, Freedom Force vs The Third Reich, GTA London, Jets n Guns Gold, adventures..
[1] Quality Drinking Venue. Somewhere that sells decent beer/wine, instead of trendy places that sell crap. That doesn't mean I'm 100% tied to real ale pubs though!
[2] But not online MMORPGs like World of Warcraft. You'll have to be pretty convincing to get me to waste my time like that.
[3] Yes, this does mean I'm bi. Yes, I'm predominantly looking for women. Yes, I'm monogamous. No, I'm not unclean, sleeping around, scary, into really kinky stuff or screamingly camp. On the other hand, if you expect heteronormativity, you're not getting it.

First Date
If you're an interesting and interested woman mail me - there's lots of experiences we're both missing out on!
I'm not desperate to get hitched, but I'd prefer something more than friendship and bedroom adventures. Even if (amazingly) you don't find me fanciable, I'd love to know of decent books, films, festivals, computer games and suchlike. Spread the joy!
As to what we'd do on a date, I'm pragmatic. It's a date. You turn up wearing a nice t shirt. Have a couple of drinks, see if we get on. If it works we extend the date/arrange for another date. Rinse, repeat until we either split up or get shot liberating 300 million USD from our hollowed out volcano in Bolivia, Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid style..
Alternatively, if you're one of the many profiles on here where they 'want to be treated like a princess' I have an alternate suggestion : how about I get you pissed and then have a friend drive you into a bollard at high speed?
PawsAndClaws has 2 roses that can be sent.
