I enjoy stimulating conversation, long walks and sunsets, and I adore animals. I thoroughly enjoy cliche and sarcasm, and it's probably helping me right now - I find filling in this little box awkward and slightly embarrassing, but I'm sure I'll get through it, just like everyone else. And yes, the above cliche is actually true.

I'm opinionated, but do not like to control or smother. I am passionate about certain subjects, but I am also quite capable of changing my opinion and accepting when I am wrong. I like to laugh, but doesn't everyone? I can also be serious, fairly sensitive and even shy at times. Oh, I'm currently employed. My sister tells me that's important.

I am generally attracted to intelligent, fit women with a sense of humour. I am only interested in sincerity and clarity, as I am honest to a fault. I get along with both shy and outgoing personalities; as long as you are open to expressing yourself completely at some point, then I can work with that.

In case you are curious, I have lived in Hamilton for about three years, but do not have roots here. I spent many years living in Oakville, but was raised in northern Alberta. I would consider moving almost anywhere for the right person and/or the right career. I have a small family, mostly in the GTA.

FYI I am not in a relationship of any sort; if I was, this profile would not exist. I have never been married, nor do I have children. I suppose I have simply not met the right person yet. Perhaps I'm a bit of a romantic when I imagine meeting someone in the same situation... or perhaps it's simply a preference...

What about roofing? It would a great chance to work on a tan, plus I need a helper anyways. I have a location all picked out: my garage. I'll even supply the water. See - I am a good guy.
